We have been living in the UK since 1981, first in the capacity of mature students and then translators-cum-interpreters. Jong did his BA in Theology at Spurgeon's College, London and a research course in Theology at the University of Durham.

Young did her BA in English Literature at a university in Korea and then an MA in Victorian Literature at King's College, London.

Young is a member of ITI (Institute of Translators and Interpreters) and Jong a Member of IOL (Institute of Linguists). Jong has also worked for some departments of the UK government such as FCO, DTI, MOD, DSS.
